Sir Isaac Newton Biography
Sir Isaac Newton was born on December 25, 1642 and died in March, 1727. He was a mathematician, an astronomer, an alchemist and a physicist who was most famous for clarifying the charactaristics of motion with the three laws listed below.
The different laws of motion are:
1. An object in motion will remain in motion at the same speed and direction unless acted on by another force. An object at rest will remain at rest unless acted on by another force.
2. F= m x a, where F is force, M is mass and A is acceleration
3. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
Newton was born on December 25,1642. He went to Trinity College in Cambridge University in 1665. He worked as a mathematics professor at Cambridge University from 1669 to 1701. He Founded a new system of math called calculus, which is still used today. Newton also was a member of The British Parliament.

One day Isaac Newton was sitting under an apple tree. An apple fell from the tree and landed near him. He wondered why the apple fell down and didn’t just fly up into the air. He decided to find out and realized that this was because of gravity. Gravity is the force that all objects have that constantly pulls other objects to it’s centre. Isaac Newton wondered, what force, and why, acts on an apple if it falls of the tree? This made him begin with his observations. Over nights, He completed studies about these forces. Isaac Newton childhood was pretty bad. Isaac’s mum remarried and Isaac disliked his new stepfather. Isaac was also sent to a village school and later he was sent to the Kings School.He was one of the top student in his school and here he became engaged with Anne Storer.At 19 years old Isaac went to the university of Cambridge for further studies.
Isaac Newton wrote a book called Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica, or The Book of Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy. In the three editions of the book, Sir Isaac Newton describes the Three Laws of Motion and the Law of Universal Gravitation. The book is thought of as one of the most important scientific documents ever published.
He died on March 20, 1727 and is buried in Westminster Abbey.
